SC-01 / HOW IT WORKS

From finding the part to bolting it on

Buying a truck part online is straightforward once you know what happens at each stage. Here is the whole process, including the parts most sites leave out.

SC-02 / THE PROCESS

Four stages

Find the part

Narrow by your truck or by the part you need. Every listing states the years, make and model it fits at the top, so you can rule a part in or out in seconds.

Confirm the fitment

If there is any doubt, send us the VIN before you order. We check it against the part and reply with a straight yes or no. This is free and it is the single best thing you can do.

Order and pay

Place the order and choose how you want to pay: bank transfer, Zelle, Apple Cash, Chime or Cash App. We sell on invoice — we email your invoice with the payment details on it, and we hold the part for you while it clears. Nothing ships until the funds land. Every method is a payment you send yourself and cannot be reversed once sent. Payment methods in full.

Take delivery

Most parts move by freight on a pallet. Check it over when it arrives.

SC-03 / THE FITMENT QUESTION

Why we keep going on about the VIN

Wrong fitment is the most common dispute in used parts, and it is almost entirely preventable.

A year range on a listing is a guide, not a guarantee. Manufacturers change brackets mid-generation, trim levels
carry different sensor and camera provision, and a truck that has already been repaired once may not have factory
mounting points any more.

The VIN resolves almost all of it. It tells us the exact build, and it takes us a couple of minutes to check.
Most of the trade charges 25 to 50 percent to take back a part you ordered wrong. We charge nothing, but the
better outcome for both of us is that you never need the return in the first place.

SC-04 / DELIVERY

What actually happens when the truck arrives

You get a call

We book the delivery with the carrier and let you know when it is coming. If they cannot reach you the shipment sits at the terminal and storage charges can start.

It comes curbside

The driver brings it to the end of the driveway. They do not carry it inside or around a building. Have help or equipment ready.

You inspect it, then sign

Walk around the pallet, unwrap enough to see the part, and photograph anything wrong before it comes off the truck.

Damage goes on the paperwork

Photograph it and contact us within 48 hours. A clean signature is the evidence the carrier relies on to show it arrived intact, and the claim gets much harder afterwards.

SC-05 / AFTER THE SALE

What you are covered for

Warranty

Used parts carry our own 90 day parts-only cover. New parts carry
the manufacturer's own warranty, passed through to you. If a part is not what we described, we refund
it and we pay the return freight. Read the warranty.

30 day returns

On a part you have not installed, including a
part that turned out not to fit. Read the returns policy.

$0 restocking

We do not charge a restocking fee. Most of this
trade charges 25 to 50 percent.
