Will this part fit my truck?

Every listing states the years, make and model it fits at the top of the page. That covers most cases. Where a listing does not state a year range it is because the information was not recorded when the part came in, and we say so on the listing rather than guessing.

If there is any doubt, send us your VIN on sales@steelcreekoffroad.com or call (817) 000-0000. We check it against the part and give you a straight answer. It is free and it takes a few minutes.

What condition are the parts in?

Used, and described honestly. Each listing sets out the condition of that specific unit, including the scratches, scuffs, rock chips and dings. The photographs are of the actual part you receive, never a stock image or a similar unit.

We do not use a letter grading scale, because no one in this segment publishes one that means anything for body panels. We describe what is actually there instead.

Are these OEM or aftermarket parts?

Both, and each listing says which. A factory OEM take-off is a genuine manufacturer part removed from a donor truck. An aftermarket unit is made by a company such as Ranch Hand, SteelCraft or Tough Country.

We are not an authorised dealer for any manufacturer. Where we name one, it is to describe what a part is or what it fits.

What does the warranty cover?

90 days from delivery, parts only. It covers the part being what we described: the right part for the stated vehicles, no undisclosed structural damage, and the features we listed genuinely present.

It does not cover labour, cosmetic wear we disclosed, paint match, installation damage, modification, or collision after fitting. Full detail is on the warranty page.

Can I return a part if it does not fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return any part you have not installed, including one that turned out not to fit, and there is no restocking fee.

The buyer pays the return freight unless we shipped the wrong part, it was not as described, or it arrived damaged. Do not try to make a part fit: once a bracket is drilled or bent it is a modified part and it is no longer returnable.

How much does return shipping cost?

It depends on the part and where you are. These are freight items and a return leg on a truck bed or a heavy duty bumper is a genuine cost, so we are not going to pretend it is free. Where the fault is ours we pay it. Where it is not, you do, and we will help you get the cheapest sensible option.

How does shipping work?

Processing takes 1 to 3 business days from payment clearing. Parcel items then take 3 to 7 business days in the lower 48; freight items take 5 to 12 business days.

Most of what we sell goes freight on a pallet. That means a delivery appointment, a kerbside drop, and somebody on site to receive it. Full detail is on the shipping and delivery page.

What do I do if it arrives damaged?

Inspect it before you sign. Write the damage on the bill of lading at the moment you sign, photograph it while it is still on the truck, and contact us within 48 hours.

A clean signature is the carrier's evidence that the shipment arrived intact, so this step genuinely matters. Do it and we handle the claim.

How do I pay?

Two ways, and neither is charged at checkout. Credit or debit card: place the order and we email you a secure payment link to pay on our provider's page. Bank transfer (ACH or wire): place the order and we email you the transfer instructions.

Either way we hold the part for you for 5 business days while the payment completes. Card payments happen on our provider's secure page, so we never see or store your card details, and we will never ask for a card number by email or phone. Personal checks are not accepted. See the payment page.

Do you charge a core charge?

No. Core charges attach to rebuildable mechanical parts such as engines, alternators and starters, where the old unit has scrap value to a remanufacturer. We sell body panels, beds and interiors, which have no core. There is nothing to send back and nothing withheld from your payment.

Do you sell airbags or seatbelts?

No, and we will not, at any price. A used restraint component cannot be tested or recertified against the federal performance standard it was built to, several states prohibit fitting a salvaged airbag system outright, and an undeployed module is regulated hazardous goods to ship.

Seat assemblies are supplied without supplemental restraint components. Any airbag module or pretensioner is removed and is not included.

Why is there only one of each part?

Because each one is a single physical object pulled from a single truck. When it sells, it is gone, and there is rarely an identical replacement. If a part sells while your payment is clearing we will tell you immediately and refund you in full.

Do you ship outside the lower 48?

We ship throughout the lower 48 as standard. Alaska, Hawaii and destinations outside the continental United States are quoted individually before you order, because freight varies too much for us to publish a figure we would then have to break.

Can I collect from the yard?

Yes. Call ahead on (817) 000-0000 so we have the part pulled and ready, and bring something capable of carrying it. We are at 4180 Old Mill Road, Cleburne, TX 76033. Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm CT. Saturday, 8:00am to 12:00pm CT.
